Messengers and Explorers
The Messengers Group is a spiritual growth program for girls aged 6-8 years and 9-11. The program is designed to support the motto: "This is God's message . . . that we should love one another." (1 John 3:11) The girls meet Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church from early September until the first part of May.
The girls take on practical projects to make a difference in the church and in the community; e.g. collecting dry goods for the church pantry; making crafts to sell at the church bazaar; distributing crafts to the seniors living in Extendicare. Contact Nancy Leeson personally or by e-mail at office@nbuc.ca.
